Hi, I am using raven distro 76 v2.202

One of my member is seing this when trying to access the site and cannot access the site:
You are using an invalid IP to access this website...???

Her IP address is 192.168.1.64

I look through nuke sentitnel and could not find any IP being block that start with 192.168.x.x

Anybody has any ideas on how I can fix this?

I thought 192.168.x.x are private IPs and thus cannot go out on the network and are only known to a router???

Thank You
Well, I have applied this fix:
Quote:
// Invalid ip check
//if($nsnst_const['remote_ip']=="none") { die(_AB_INVALIDIP); }

Is this the right fix?
As I could not find the HowToInstall guide under troubleshooting raven is refering in the other thread.

I still do not understand how the server the website is on can see 192.168.x.x, I thought those are private IPs and thus cannot go out on the network.

Then they are using a proxie or an IP blocking software.

First you say this:

Quote:

Raven nuke 76 2.2.00 out of the box.

And then this:

Quote:

this problem has only happend after i updated from
Nuke 76 chatserve patched 3.1, sentinal unknown sorry

So I am not sure if you have a true RavenNuke76 2.02.00 installation or not. Can you please explain a bit more about what you mean by the second statement?

By the way, we will continue to provide patches in future releases of RN76 to the core nuke code, NukeSentinel, etc, so you need only keep up on the RavenNuke76 patches. You may want to upgrade from 2.02.00 to 2.02.02, which is the latest RN76 release.

Regards, montego

I was running a nuke 76, patched to 3.1 with sentinel.
I then reinstalled the site with Ravens nuke 76 2.2.02. Using the instructions.
I also upgraded the SQL database.
I then took all the data from the forums, private messages and articles that I wanted to keep and placed them into the SQL database.
Since the up grade my friend cannot get onto the site, all he gets is an “invalid IP when he tries to get on.

Ok, thank you for the additional detail. You are using the latest release which also means the latest NukeSentinel.

Try this and let us know if that solves it:
