Forum Module User vs. Admin

Quick questions, I hope I'm in the right forum. Using the most recent version of Raven76, concerning groups and forums:

1. When I go into user permissions from the forum admin page, I need to know what the actual difference is between giving someone the administrator designation vs. the user designation. What all will this give a person access to?

2. When I go to user permissions, I am unable to give anyone permissions to view the designated 'private' forums, unless they are designated (on the same screen) as an administrator.

3. When I go to designate someone as 'IS Moderator' of a given forum, when I hit submit it reset to 'Not Moderator.'

4. Can I set up a forum to automatically give appropriate access to a specific group (I'm using NSN Groups.)

5. Under Group Admin-Management, all fields are blank.

Ok, I guess I have a lot of questions, and not so quick I imagine. Laughing

I have done extensive searches to find these answers out with no luck.

Help please. Thanks in advance!!!

1) Administrator will get access to everything related to the forums

2) Weird, not sure why that is

3) Again, not sure

4) Yes, you need to set the Usergroup Permissions

5) No idea

They seem to be related, so individual posts should not be needed. Tried upgrading to 2.02.02 ?
