Hi people!

I have a prob with the fantastic who is where block. The message I get in the block is:

Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user: 'pchelp4@localhost' (Using password: NO) in /home/pchelp4/public_html/modules/RWH_WhoIsWhere/index.php on line 39

Unable to connect to Server. MySQL said Access denied for user: 'pchelp4@localhost' (Using password: NO)

Code:
LINE 39 - $db = mysql_connect($dbhost, $dbuname, $dbpass) or die('<br />Unable to connect to Server. MySQL said '.mysql_error());

I don't seem to have problems with other blocks using MySQL, ie: 4nChat

Any help would be really appreciated Very Happy

Verify that you have installed it correctly. That is a MySQL error, not a block error. It appears as if it is not reading the password from your config file. Is your config in the root nuke directory or have you moved it elsewhere?

Yea, the config.php is in the root (public_html) and I have double checked the details held within...they seem to check out.

Unable to locate nuke config file

I have moved my config.php file to my main root??
path would look like this:

config.php/public_html/

How can i get it to work?
do i have to put config back in the html folder?

Moving the config file really accomplishes very little and causes more problems that it is intended to cure. Just move it back.

I moved the config back to html directory as you said.
but I'm having trouble with MySql database for some reason.
i get this error:

Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/clubhous/public_html/modules/RWH_WhoIsWhere/index.php on line 151

Line 151 says:

$data = mysql_fetch_row($cmd);

I have not found a reference to this $cmd

I'm running the new rn76v2.02

as long as there are no members on line it works
if a member logs in i get the error.

Unfortunately that is a generic error that one of the queries is not working.
It would require some debugging to determine what is causing the error, usually missing tables or variables

Mine sounds familiar. This is what my block looks like:

Guest(s) Online
56 guest(s)

Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/httpd/vhosts/stangsgarage.com/httpdocs/modules/RWH_WhoIsWhere/index.php on line 76
1 User(s) Online

(60 sec. refresh)

i will continue to look for the answer in the forums though but of course any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

Are you using v1.3 (latest release)? I don't think so because that line number does not cause that error.

Ok, I added the table and low and behold I think it is working now. Sorry, I did not have word wrap on and didn't slide on over to the the query part.
I added the table and seem to be good to go now.

Thanks though.

You mentioned version 1.3 and I can only find version 1.2 in the download section. Where can I get v 1.3?

That's a very good question! I don't know what happened to v1.3 but no matter. I just released v1.4 Smile It's in the Downloads. Click on the image to download.

You do not have to have the php short tag. The default refresh rate is 60 and is changed in the block.

HI Raven, I also noticed something else which could be another "Senior Moment" thing. On your site, you are using Site Info v2.2.2.

In the downloads area I can only find 2.1.1 ... so, is this a "Senior Moment" or is it just that you are not planning to release 2.2.2? Very Happy

Not a Senior Moment this time Laughing - I just haven't had time to package it up. I will get to it -- eventually.

Cool Raven ... don't worry about it, we're more keen for 2.10 to come out. We can wait on Site Info. Mr. Green
