Fck image and lag? problem

i installed the newest version of your distro on my site fresh install , eerthing is working fine , then i installed the fck editor made my directories chommoded to 777 , uploader works great , the fckeditor was what i needed to put swf gif files in contents works great but lol sometimes i get 404 not allowed on this server , i click refresh site comes back up and sometimes my images on home page wont show , click refresh , they come back up , this was after i installed fck editor. also when i point my scroll pointer on a media object such as welcome box shout box or anything with flash on it , it is surrounded by a white line untill i click on it , then its fine. when i go to content or blocks , anything that has editor on it , it kinda lags my site n stretches site images for bout 5 secs . its not a big problem just kinda troublesome , any ideas? thanks allot

thanks for fast reply , i dont no if it has anything to do with fckeditor or not , just trying to weed out the possiblities . thanks again
