Just to clarify, are you expecting weekly updates?

Hello,
don't need weekly updates since the last package works very well for me.
I would like to know if it makes sence to update that package to the last patched version (3.2?) or if I can wait for ravens update?

You may have missed the various explanations as they have been in other posts.

This past month I have had some health issues that have kept me from working at my normal speed and efficiency. So, my original time schedule, if you will, is now about 1.5 months off. I will repeat this here to save you and others from havimg to hunt it down.

We will soon be releasing v2.02.02 - a bug fix release. Soon needs to be interpreted as "as soon as we have completed and QA tested it" thoroughly.

After that will be release v2.10.00 which will be an enhancement release and will include such things as HTML News Letter, Dynamic Titles, Gallery 2.x, and possibly a few others.

After that, we will see where we are and what else needs to be done.

Hello Raven,

I did not want to bother you! I am very happy with your version of phpNuke.

I just wanted to know if I have to upgrade to patch 3.2 by my self or if it will be released 'soon' in your next release.

So, a v2.02.02.02.02 would be fine!!! Smile

(No manual instructions are yet available....Sad

It will include a flavor of 3.2, meaning there will all fixes we know about at the time of release. If there are critical patches in 3.2 then you would want to go ahead and patch accordingly.

I asked because I wanted to make sure your expectations were realistic. I can't name a single software product, commercial or open source, that has monthly updates and a reputation for quality. I can name several open source projects that closed, at least in part because people had unrealistic expectations and did not appreciate the effort it takes to develop and release such things.

Why did you ask if the project is dead, when messages are being posted by the developers about it daily, one month after the previous release?
