htaccess question

I have a question regarding the .htaccess file of the distro pack.

I noticed that on the 7th line the following code:

<Files .ftaccess>
deny from all

I have a .htaccess and a .staccess file but I can't find the .ftaccess file.

Is this a typo error and should I change the letter f to h, or should I just ignore this?

I'm not a programmer or anything like that, so this could just be a stupid question.

It's probably supposed to be .staccess.

It can't be .staccess, because line 11 to 13 has this:

<Files .staccess>
deny from all
</Files>

Should I just delete lines 7 to 9:

<Files .ftaccess>
deny from all
</Files>

since I don't have a .ftaccess file?

It was for a future enhancement, I believe, that we haven't implemented. It can be removed.

If it couldn't be .staccess, why did you ask?? Wink

You can delete those lines, but having them doesn't hurt anything since the file doesn't exist, no one can access it anyway.
