Hi!

when using your excellent 7.6 package and renamning admin.php.

Will that make module and block installations troublesome?

Today I use the phpNuke 7.4 and have to edit every new installed module and block with the correct path to renamedadmin.php.

Will I still have to do that with the raven-package?

Cheers / B

Renaming of the admin.php script can be troublesome for non-patched sites (I tried it long back and most of my admin links in the block would not work - for example) AND if a module has an administration component and it was not written to use the $admin_file variable (most likely not unless it is a somewhat recent version) instead of hardcoding admin.php, then, yes, you would have to modify that module's code.

To be honest, if you are already using Nuke Sentinel and its HTTP Auth protection on the admin.php file (and if not, why not????), there is very little value in renaming your admin.php script.

Regards,

Yeah, maybe it should renamed based on some kind of randomizer and encryption algorithm... that would mess things up! No-one could hack your site... or use it... ROTFL

Why not use the poll system and make users name the files Wink
