we use to use post nuke which had a page when registering that required that you select over or under a certain age . if anyone know`s what i mean , after searching i cant seem to find a module or block that will do it . any help or suggestions ? i want to allow user registrations but i want them to verify they are over 18 as my gaming clan can get pretty raunchy and we are all in our 30`s Smile

CNB is a drop in replacement for the standard Your Account module and admin functions. It greatly extends the capabailities.

Using the Forum registration also provides you this with a lot less effort Wink

Indeed. If you wish to go that route there is a basic tutorial for using the forum registration here:

Point all nuke links to forum registration and edit profile

Can you still use this form of registration and *not* use Forums on the nuke site? I'd like to also ensure registered users are over a certain age, but do not want to activate forums for the site.

To be able to use the Forum registration and edit profile feature you will need to have the Forum module activated and viewable by all.

CNBYA 4.4.2 has the COPPA option available so that may be your best solution since you do not really wish to use the Forum functions on your site.

Hope this helps. Smile

I suppose you can just activate the forums but not create any forums. Curt, wouldn't that work?

Yes, it seems like that should work. Of course you will need to make the Forum "not displayed" in your menu. That way the empty forum module would not confuse people. Smile
