Users not automatically logged into the forum

As the title says, when i log in using CNB I am unable to get logged into the forum,

Currently I am using nuke 7.8 with bbtonuke 2.0.17

After I am logged in to the main site, when I go to the forums im not logged in, and after clicking on the log in button it takes me back to my profile, however I am still not logged into the forums.

In addition I have searched the forum database and it hasnt got any users in it? Could you please help me with this as I am stumped,

well perhaps you can try it when using the normal your-account, cause latest cnb version can run with 7.6 (says 7.5) but your running 7.8..
And did you follow the install instructions?..including the lines you need to add in mainfile?

yep followed everything to the letter,

however the normal login says that the user isnt found when I try to login!

Its bizarre!

stupid question maybe but how are logged in?
as member or admin?
But also is weird in your previous post that you said the user isnt found?

i know! i am logged in as admin, however if i try and log in as a normal user its almost as if i dont actually exist, the database doesnt look my username and password up!

Its really frustrating, im in the middle of doing a fresh install, maybe that might aleviate the problem

well did you create the same username with the install as admin ?
anyway....or when you havent done that much ...just run the install again...
cause how shitty it may sound,if your doing a fresh install and all this happens you made some mistakes somewhere somehow....
