Tonight,
After I got my NS set up, I went to my admin.php and it blocked me as an author. Well, I changed to the proxy server, and went back and looked and it did not store that blocked user.

So the question, should it store the user on its own, or does it block the user until the admin can go in and maunally block them?

Did your settings allow for the ip to be written to the .htaccess file? I think it has to doe with the setup, and which option you use for the particular type of block in quesiton, but I could be mistaken.
