Hi,
I installed Sentinal due to a DOS attack. And I need you help.

Able to access the admin panel but when I try to navigate to Forums Index from the panel I get a blank page. I tried to locate any information needed in FAQ and these forums to no avail.

The intial install went well ( I think) but I do not get the additional log in when i access the admin panel? I did something wrong with the .htacess and the .staccess. I am having a difficult time understanding exactly what I am suppose to do with these two file.

Any help or suggestion would be Great.

Are you using the latest patches by Chat?
Which version of Sentinel are you using?

Thanks for the questions.

No, I did not install any patches by "Chat", I installed the 2.9 Patched for Nuke.

The version is 2.3.0

are you sure that you version is 2.0.4 and not 2.0.14 ? because if this is the case a possible solution is here: [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]
if this is not the case be sure to have modified forum's admin files with the patch2.9 code: define('FORUM_ADMIN', true);

Manuel,

Thank you for your assistance. I have destalled the program. I tried going into cpanel to find out what version we have but when I clicked on a link that cpanel indicatees that it is installed "visit site" it takes me to another phpbb site and not the one we have installed. Same url but different page is showing up, almost like a backup site.

Maybe i'll try again when i understand this stuff a lil better. and just bear the dos attacks for the time being.

NukeSentinel will not stop a true dDos attack. It can help against small flood attacks, but there is not site level application that even stands a small chance. Trust me - I'm becoming an expert at this Wink

I've deceided not to give up on this...

Im respectfully asking for help. Do I need to change the files htacess and staccess for Sentinal to work properly? This is where I got in trouble last time I tried.

Is the sample suppose to be copied in the existing file? How?

Any additional information would be great.

nuke 7.5 with patched 2.9
phbb 2.0.14
