2 of my installations that required sql import didn't work so I think I didn't import the sql correctly. Here's what I did open up phpmyadmin, went to my database, went to sql, browsed to the sql I wanted. Then it says successful import or whatever. Is that right, why isn't it working. btw the 2 installations are wb block manager and who-is-where block 2.1. Please help.

i haven't had much success with sql import, i try reading up on it and i did exactly like it says. I get a message saying succesful something i forgot and I checked the db and I saw wb block manager as well as who-is-where tables in there. The tables are the list on the left, is that correct? Thanks for helping. What could be the problem

The new tables are in the list. Thats correct. I found only one new table for the who is where block. If you have all new tables -whats the problem ? You have to activate the blocks.

If you have any error in your db you can repair there or optimize. But be carefully.I always optimize my db especial the table nuke_sessions.

activate blocks in admin.php? yup of course I did that already. The who-is-where block shows up fine, its just that it doesn't show any members on there at all.

I visit your site, but I could`t see the new block. Ok, have you chanced the my-headers.php in the folder includes ?

Maybe read the install.txt from the whoiswhere again .

i made it so that only admin can see it. Here I'll make it so everyone can see. Check back to my site. I never had a my-header.php so I just used the one that came with the installation for version 2.1

Are you sure the block is made for nuke v7.6? You might try contacting the author and ask him what the problem might be.

do u not use 7.6 for ur site Raven? Does your whoiswhere block work? The intallation for version 2.1 says it works with 6.5+. Anyway I think it's not a version problem because there are a lot of v7.6. I think Susan has 7.6 since she's pretty up to date with her site and her whoiswhere block works fine.

No, I do not use 7.6. But that who-is-where block that you use is not mine. My block works on 7.6.

I'm about to pull all my hair out........................ I installed who-is-where 2.0,2.1,2.3 (works w/ all nuke versions) none worked. I even installed Jag Online which took like half an hour itself. The installation was SUCCESSSSSSFUUL (it says) and when I go to activate the block guess what I get "There is a problem right now with this block" on the fregggin block, omfg and I spent even more time searching everywhere to see if people have similar problems but couldn't find nothing! If anyone have a clue tell me plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, is it the server, is it me, is it sql wtf is it???????????????/

You have not installed my wiw block correctly. That's why you're receiving that error. I know this can be frustrating. There's nothing wrong with the server. Maybe you need to set it aside until tomorrow and then just try reinstalling it? If you go over the installation instructions again, maybe you'll see what might have been missed.

I looked it over carefully.... and I realized I inserted the second part into index instead of module. Having fixed that problem, now the module works but the block still doesn't. So that being the only 2 steps besides importing the sql (and adding the files to ftp), I went back to phpmyadmin and clicked on the table nuke_wiw_m just to see if anything look odd (bec i dont know wtf I'm doing) and I see <img src"https://unll.net:2083/3rdparty/phpMyAdmin/themes/original/img/s_warn.png">No index defined! Should I define an index? I spent most of today, let me rephrase that I've WASTED most of today getting nothing done so if I can get this out of the way tonight then it's atleast a step forward. Thanks

No, you don't need an index. "I've WASTED most of today getting nothing done" - welcome to our world ROTFL - Have you activated the block?

BTW, something is wrong with your site - it never stops trying to load. Looks like a runaway block or something.

It seems to load fine to me but I'll check it out. Yes I activated it but in the block it has that page cannot be found thing.

It never loads, at least for a visitor. Activate the block so i can see what the url is that it can't find.
