Comment out the Sentinel stuff in your mainfile.php and try again to verify it is Sentinel.

Could it be html that nuke blocks?

Do a story with just 'test' as the text.

will have to re-install sentinel to try. May do so in a bit. Just put protector in for the meantime.

I would think that if it were the html it would effect many others than just me.

Well, it depends on the news story html content. Nuke blocks different html code even for admin writing news.

There is a fix around here. I would rather have you make a text only news story to verify Sentinel being the problem.

Thanks!

Now this is happening in the admin panel. Lets say I open the blocks menu and edit a block. When I go to save is when it goes to the blank admin page. Now it will save / write the new data but will not re-load the admin page.

I have installed a new Nuke 76 patched 29 and then NukeSentinel 220 and all works fine.

version 220 went in without a hitch and seems to work just fine. Thanks for the help. I don't recall seeing 220 in the downloads last week. I suppose I could have just missed it.

Thanks again

I have similer problem. It is saying

"You are using an Invalid IP to access this site!"

Nuke 76 patched 29 and then NukeSentinel 220. I had tried two times. Result is same. What can be reason ? Thanks.

If this is on your local pc, edit includes/nukesentinel.php. On or about line 97 find
Code:
// Invalid ip check

if($nsnst_const['remote_ip']=="none") { die(_AB_INVALIDIP); }
and comment it out
Code:
// Invalid ip check

//if($nsnst_const['remote_ip']=="none") { die(_AB_INVALIDIP); }

What if this problem is being seen by a remote user?
In the latest users section of my host's CP, i see the user's ip address an html return code of 200 (OK) but she gets this error.

I edited the line in includes/nukesentinel.php and she has regained access but... I don't understand why she was being blocked. My control panel shows her ip address, so i'm sure the ISP is sending the ip address, why would sentinel see it as invalid?

What type of page is she getting? Is it a NukeSentinel(tm) page of a default page? Not enough info to work with in your post Sad
