Hello all,

I am trying to install PHP Nuke 7.5 on my web host server. They have created a database for me, I just need to populated. They cannot help me with that part, but they stated that I can use Perl DBI or mysql.pm to connect to the database.

I am completely lost. I have been searching the net for the mysql.pm and Perl DBI and get some info on how to connect, but no step by step instructions on how to copy the nuke.sql file already made into mysql database that I have with my host server.

Can someone familiar with this assist me or point me to some document that might show mysql -h dbhost -u dbuname -p dbname < nuke.sql
me on how to do this.

Thanks in advance.

FYI, I have ssh access to my server. And its a Lunix Server. Apache 1.3.x

error message that I get
lsh114:~$ bash: mysql: command not found
when I try to do
mysql -h dbhost -u dbuname -p dbname < nuke.sql
(using my host and dabatename and mysql name)

so I figured that I had to use the Perl DBI or mysql.pm

Why not just use the web installer? As long as your config info is correct in config.php it should work. [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

I did not even know this existed. Thank you very much. I am going to try the web installer right now.

Thanks again.
