I just happened to witness a conflict between Sentinel and *Shout Box v5.04* Smilies button utilization, as using Mozilla as a browser, apart from daily practises.

WEB SERVER PREFERENCES:
Sentinel Version == 2.01
BROWSER PREFERENCES:
- IE (v6.0.x)
- Mozilla (v1.7)

#1 GENERAL DESCRIPTION [Shout Box - block access]
IE 6.0.x: no problems whatsoever
Mozilla 1.7 : resulting post-conflict after accessing the *SMILIES* button on the instantiated frontpage *Shout Box* block.

#2 ACCEPTABLE BACKGROUND DIFFERENCIES
IE: opens up a widened SMILIES preview box instead of Pop-Up
Mozilla: opens up a SMILIES Pop-Up instead of widened preview box

#3 ACTUAL PROBLEM DESCRIPTION
--> It is the SMILIES Pop-Up box (in case of Mozilla) that contains following error insert being printed on top of the Pop-Up screen - i.e. preceding the actual smilies tables:

---> beginning of reference
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /var/www/html/modules/Shout_Box/help.php:6) in /var/www/html/includes/sentinel.php on line 71
---> end of reference

# TEST ENV REFERENCE : frontpage : [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

Please see frontpage [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ] instantiated *Shout Box* (at bottom left-side) for further trials in witnessing the reported herein.

I find it quite interesting that this has not yet been reported - might this be a corner case? Or could this represent an example of implementated functionality not considered being equipped with acceptable methods from security point of view?

I wish that I have not missed any Topics regarding the findings being reported herein.

Kind Regards,

-beetraham

Try a couple of things.

First, insert this line as line 2 of sentinel.php
ob_start();

Did that fix it?

If not, try this [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

Any luck?
