Hi Folks

Okay, so I'm on my bi-monthly quest of examining potential themes for my site, and one overwhelming fact that I keep running into like a brick wall is that nobody seems to be making any HTML 4.01 Transitional compliant themes.

My MDesignPC theme is so far out of compliance, it makes my stomach turn.

Does anyone know of any decent HTML compliant themes out there?

If so, can you post the information about them here?

I'm pretty good at fixing CSS issues, but making new themes has never been my strong suit. I hoping others will be able to help me find a few different solutions in this regard.

What I find most disturbing is that PHP-Nuke ships with the default themes installed and those nice HTML and CSS compliant icons all setup by default in a block, yet NONE of the themes included with PHP-Nuke (ANY VERSION that I've seen past 6.5) are HTML transitional compliant. It points to a rather embarrassing issue, nevermind falsely posting compliance.

To get an idea of where your site stands, try testing it and then answer my poll!

A note to users with NukeSentinel installed:
In order to run this test, you need to go to your NukeSentinel Configuration screen, then select the "Harvester Blocker Settings" option.
Then on the list, you need to remove the blocked harvester "libwww-perl".
This will allow the test to be run successfully!

Anyway, any help is appreciated!

Thanks!

Nuke-Sentinel users who have the default Harvester list enabled will have to remove libwww-perl from the list to validate their sites.

Yeah, we must have been thinking that at the same time... lol.. I realized that about 2 minutes after I posted it and went back and edited it then...

I just now went back and took the X out of my title too, to make it HTML compliant instead of XHTML compliant.... ooopsie
