I've noticed that if I use the Site Info block, new users can't seem to complete the registration process. It keeps claiming that the security code wasn't entered correctly. However, if I go back to the normal Who's Online block, they can register.

Ideas?

Thanks.

Never heard that one before. They both use the same security routine. What version of nuke? Does your regular login block use the security graphic?

Version 6.9

If I enable the normal Who's Online block, it works fine.

Here's the site:

But Who's Online doesn't use a graphic. Does Your Account work correctly?

That's correct, it does not use a graphic.

If you are referring to the Your Account module, yes it works with the Who's Online and the Site Info block. However, if I use the Site Info block, when a new user attempts to register, it does have the graphic for security and complains that it doesn't match.

If I revert back to the standard Who's Online, it works fine with the graphic.

I can make some of these files available for you to look at if you wish.

I appreciate your help.

Have you modified my site block code at all? The reason I ask is that I had a support question last night exactly like this and after about an hour of fiddling I discovered that the block he was using had been modified in some way that was causing the problem. Try uploading my block again using binary transfer and see if the problem is still there. Thanks.

No I have not modified it. I also use SSH to transfer the files.

I'll try it again.

Tks.

Here's a link of the file I'm using. If you can, please download it and see if you see anything modified.

I finally just disabled the graphic in the config.php file and new user registration seems to work fine now.

Tks.
