from a site? How do you delete a registered member that isn't around anymore so that it leaves no trace of his passing? Thank you.

That can cause error because the userid and/or name could be stored in other tables. Either use the delete in the Nuke admin, or the forums ACP.

well that can depend,on what the reason is of deleting a member.
sure there are a few ways.
but before it was possible to delete members with the your account but that option was taken out....is weird... Crying or Very sad
But you cannot .....as you put it......delete a member completely because of his tracks.
I simply use MS analysis for that .
But deactivate is good enough....

Thanks, the discussion above is the exact reason I wanted to know... there seems to be no set way to do it. Anyone else have any input?

well i think that at this moment there isnt anything yet.
cause if the member you wanna delete signed your guestbook you have to take a dive into that also.....
like most things for the nuke site it comes with some sql part.
and if his name is in that also the deleting will get difficult...

I should add that for what its worth CNB Your Account gives you the option to Suspend or Deactivate users. Not what you had in mind but it is another tool in dealing with users who are disrupting to your web.

but its weird that the option to delete users is taken out.
the only tool who allows that now is ms-analysis.
but the idea behind the change from deleting to suspending is probably to prevent the kicked member using the account...
