I copied the folder over to [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

Where do I go from here? I also set the permissions to 777 I can't call it up in the browser by entering the url above. What's up?

Believe me, I did that. Here is exactly where it is:
[ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

When I run that, it says I cant access this file directly.

You never directly access modules in Nuke. I don't think you read far enough in the Nuke Users Guide.
Quote:
Installation

Unzip the kisgb-nuke.zip package
Read ALL the documentation! It really is invaluable in helping you to understand this application
Now that you have read the documentation, modify the header.php, filter.php file, and user.prefs.php file according to your needs
ftp the entire folder to your web server nuke/modules directory
Set permissions as follows
kisgb folder = 0777
kisgb/themes folder = 0777
kisgb/kisgb.csv.php = 0666
kisgb/user.prefs.php = 0666
Activate the module in the administration section of Nuke.
Installation should be complete! If not, check permissions. That's usually the issue.
Notice the Activate the module in the administration section of Nuke. line? After you activate the module, the link appears in your Modules list. That's how you access the guestbook Smile.

Ok, I change permissions, it takes it, then I go back to it and the permissions are at 770.

That is an issue of either your ftp client or your host. You will need to discuss that with them. What is in your ftp log?

umm, sorry, don't know how to check an FTP log. I have a tech checking out my permissions deal. I can't check the boxes all the way on the right that make the last permission digit a "7" Even if this last digit wasn't "7", shouldn't I be able to see this thing in the modules list?

There is no log to check. Your ftp client, the software you use to ftp your files to your host, normally provides a mechanism to change the permissions. WsFTP, CuteFTP, etc., all provide this. If yours does not then contacting your host is probably the best way.

Thanks for your help. As usual, a user error, not the program.
