Hey I just upgraded to PHP-Nuke 7.4, now that it is available to the public. But I don't know how to upgrade NukeSentinel. Anyone care to give me some instructions?

Thanks,
Gerard

Just overwrite the files and run the update script (same as install)

I'm a little confused. When I run the install what do I do? First Time Install?

Thanks for the reply,
Gerard

upload and overwright the files then run one or more of the upgrade scripts, not the first install script.

you may have to run more then one upgrade script if you are more then a .1 behind

When your run the nsnst.php file look in hte drop down menu for the version you had.

Say you had 1.2.0 and your now upgrading to 2.0.2 . You would run these upgrades from the nsnst.php file:
1) Upgrade NukeSentinel™ 1.2.0 to 2.0.0 RC 4 tables
2) Upgrade NukeSentinel™ 2.0.0 RC 4 to 2.0.0 RC 5 tables
3) Upgrade NukeSentinel™ 2.0.0 RC 5 to 2.0.0 RC 6 tables
4) Upgrade NukeSentinel™ 2.0.0 RC 6 to 2.0.0 tables
5) Upgrade NukeSentinel™ 2.0.0 to 2.0.1 tables
6) Upgrade NukeSentinel™ 2.0.1 to 2.0.2 tables

Where as if you had 2.0.1 you would run this upgrade:
1) Upgrade NukeSentinel™ 2.0.1 to 2.0.2 tables

You shouldnt need to upgrade Sentinel if you already have 2.0.2 installed. I wouldnt think that the nuke upgrade would have affected it, I could be wrong.

Don't forget to do the includes statement if you overwrote your existing mainfile.php

Okay, I just downloaded the 7.4 NukeSentinel d/l and I uploaded the files and overwrote everything. Now it shows the PHP-Nuke logo and

You probably overwrote your config.php file and all your MySQL settings.

Okay, I took a look at the config.php. Not hard at all. I edited it. I reloaded my site. Instead of the PHP-Nuke logo and

I got some error codes.I decided to just go with the PHP-Nuke logo and stuff because I thought I may have been giving hackers some info with those error messages.

Thanks.

Haha nevermind. I got it. Thanks for all the replies, guys. I appreciated it.

[UPDATE] Woops, when I try to go to the home page it says "You can't access this file directly...." but when I do anything else it doesn't say that.

Thanks,
Gerard
