I cannot find this line to edit:

Your_Account Bug

In Your_Account's index.php file you will find 4 placements of:

getusrinfo($user);
if (($userinfo[username] != $cookie[1]) AND ($userinfo[user_password] != $cookie[2])) {

If you have the chatserv patched series 2.5 files that change is already applied. Other then that there are some versions where the lines are slightly altered so search won't find them. But first I'd login to a user account and see if the preferences and theme work if they do you don't have anything to worry about finding.

The best way to check is once you have installed Sentinel go into the 'your account' module and make sure everything works normally.

I forgot to apply the patch and was unable to edit my info or change themes.

I have been there, done that, even seen the film (although in my case I was watching the out-takes version) so at first I miss-read that these changes applied to the My Accounts Module index.php rather than the main index.php in my haste to finish the installation and try out Sentinel Smile

A humble suggestion for idiots like me : how about putting these instructions first in the readme/instructions file of future releases Question

It just an idea

If your following the word pad document's installation file they left a step out.

You need to add;

Code:
include("includes/sentinel.php");

at the top of mainfile.php, right after <?php.

From the updated User Guide:
Quote:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: abget_configs() in /xxxx/xxxxxxxx/public_html/admin/modules/sentinel.php on line 28

Answer
Be sure to add the include("includes/sentinel.php"); line to your mainfile.php

Very Happy
And it was actually the second error in the FAQ

Now that's a brilliant idea, it would save time when people dont read it and come here asking why the install has gone wrong, and it would also help thicko's like me. lol
