Bootstrap Navigation Bar

Hi,

I have installed Bootstrap Navigation Bar on Raven CMS 2.51, and it works fine, BUT I've found that it prevents my site from w3c validation. Can anyone tell me where to put this DOCTYPE declaration please? I tried putting it in custom.head.php and in the theme file and other files, but wherever I've tried putting it just seems to throw the W3C validator into some kind of confusion as to what the document type is. This is a HTML5 doctype and RN25x is using xHTML. These are two different doctypes and that is the reason why you are getting these errors. This can not work together. For sure the browser is trying to display it but this is not correct and you should not mix doctypes because a doctype is unique in a html document.

Thanks Neralex, that's what I was beginning to think but wasn't quite sure. Do you know if there is any responsive navigation bar script out there that will work and validate with RN25?
