Different Forum Block?

Does anyone know if there is a different forum block that would show just the latest forum post or two? I don't like the default one because it takes up 1/2 the page Razz

Nope the default ones show to many posts..it takes up to much space

Block-forums...well both really. What I was asking is if there is a module or a block that just shows recent posts only up to a number of your choosing because those others show the entire forums. What I'm looking for is similar to latest stories block but for forums only.

In block-ForumsCollapsing.php you can determine some specific values.

But what i don't understand is what are you meaning with "for forums only" - for only one forum and not for all? Because is the entire forums not the same as for forums only?

Sorry for not being clear. What I was looking to do was get more people to view the forums by having a small block on the home page that shows people the latest forum topic. I would like it to function alot like the block called "BIG STORY OF TODAY" where it shows only one topic. The forum blocks that are pre-installed on RN basically display your forums, I do not want to display my forums, I just want to display the latest topic and its got to be small enough to fit on the right side of the page.
