Is it possible to exclude certain areas of a module? I want to change some links of the module in the tap-file. But not the areas that are accessible only as a user.

Sounds difficult, if you tap the module index that part of the URL is present in all links of the module. If you exclude some links they end up "partially tapped"

yourmodule.html?op=someop&id=22

Yes that is it and i get the result what you have written. The problem is, i can not really exclude areas. Either I use the short links and it engages for the complete modules or i disable it completely. The other way is to set all manually and this is not what i want to do.

Keep in mind that it will only tap based upon the taps you put in the file. It doesn't do anything "automatically". If you have added an overall tap at the bottom for the module, then, yes, it will do what you are saying.

For example, in News, the tap I'm referring to is this one:

Code:

'"(?<!/)modules.php\?name=News"',

If you had no other taps in the GT file but this one, it would produce every link like this:

news.html?op=someop&id=11

If you remove this one line (and its corresponding $urlout line), then that pattern will not be performed.

The more prescriptive your taps, the better. Even the order of taps can be important. You will see in all the GT files that the more prescriptive taps come first followed by their less prescriptive ones. If this wasn't the case, the less prescriptive tag would process first and create problems like you've highlighted.
