Two or More words in forum search is a broken thread link

Hello,
Not sure where to start, but I think it has something to do with short links?

Any search term with 2 or more words. When clicking the result of any threads is a broken link.

If the search term is only 1 word, the thread links are OK.

Example:

I did a search term on forums with the words "dog show"

one result was with a thread link of:
/ftopict-2802-dog+show.html

this is a broken link.

I did a search term on forums with the word "show"
/fsearch-results.html

for the same thread above, however this link did work.

any idea if this has something to do with short links or where to start?

Can you reproduce this at [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ] ? I just tested it and it works as it should.

I don't know whats up on my site, it has to be some thing with my install.

You might want to d/l v2.40.01 (if you don't have a copy) and compare the FORUM files with yours.

hmmm I re-uploaded the forums files just in case something got corrupted, also the ShotLinks files, but still having same issue. my RN is in [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

I would look at your htaccess and make sure those are current as well.
