sorry i'm a but new to this, i have installed ravennuke everything that was in the html folder has gone up on my root directory, gone through the process of linking to database and then deleting the installation file, then gone into admin and made forum active - however when i click on the forums button i get this message
phpBB : Critical Error
Could not open forums template config file
DEBUG MODE
Line : 503
File : functions.php
do i have to upload a forum folder to my website and if so where can i get the download. my website is [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

There are different reasons for this error.I had this issue a time before also because I used an other theme and the database told me something different.
Please upload your default theme and forums files again. Its easy to fix this.

ive done both checked that subSilver is correct named which it is and still iget the same message |

been checking all night still getting same error :9

I can take a look and fix this for you if you are not able to do this but did you uploaded the files again ?

Best practice is to activate error logging and change the display errors to true in config.php and in rnconfig to $error_reporting = E_ALL; // because sometimes there are issues with ftp and not all files are uploaded and therefore such and similar errors occur. |
