Footer messing up graphics?

I'm trying to fix this problem:

Obviously I don't want to remove the copyright/credits etc in the footer so what is the best way to fix this? How could I edit the footer to change font size or something perhaps to see if it helps or not?

usually, such texts are consisted of three parts: foot_msg 1, 2, and 3. You may see them directly in your phpmyadmin.

Now, your theme.php file call footmsg() function defined in <nuke-root>/footer.php.

Open <nuke-root>/footer.php and change some class defintions, centered alignments, and fonts in there.

The best recommendation is that you will open your css file under your themes directory. You will find style.css file from there. In general, the css style file defines css identity for footer msg. So, add, delete, or modify styles.css file, which will be enough to hand them in a way you like.

Some of it can be changed under Preferences in the Admin Control Panel.

Looks like the footer style is defining its own background image
