It really depends on the type of shoutbox and what the 'event' trigger is. Most of them use javascript so you would have to prevent conflicts in the trigger event.

Guardian2003,

I would love to use the one that already comes with Ravens nuke is there a way to convert to allow 2?

Change the coding?

Probably but to be honest I have never used it as I prefer to use my forums where I then have a permanent record. I just do not have the time to dive into it right now so hopefully someone else can assist.

I was toying with making the shoutbox compliant, and i got it... yet i broke the [URL] function, or at least I though I did. Reinstalled a "virgin" copy and it was still broken...?

So my question, anyone else having issues with this or do I need to look for something specific to my config..?

btw this is the function that makes the link small like so [URL] ....

currently it just displays the text of the full url and no link Sad

A word of caution. One shout box can cause performance issues for some folks so 2 is likely to make that problem much worse.

Watch your Process explorer when you visit a site with a shout box (and or a lot of animated gifs) and see the spikes some places it is ridiculous.

Has any one had problems with the shout box block and the collapsable center forums block? I have tweaked my center forums block to expand by default. When I turn on my shout box block, the center forums block will not work. It will not expand, not even after clicking the show/hide button. Any ideas?
