These are three very simple mods for your News module.

1. Add posters Avatar to News comments.
2. Simple 2 column News on main page.
3. News title link to full story

All three are seperate mods. None require the other in order to work.

Have fun and enjoy.

# 1 is a nice touch to make Nuke more blog-like...I like it! Thanks...

I always felt that if the Journal module was more of a blog script and the News was expanded and improved, it would make Nuke much better for the masses. Just my opinion.

Yeah, I know, I keep going back-and-forth on whether to use News as a "blog" or just port a blog to a module or write a simple blog module. Still debating.... now this makes it closer to picking News...

I tried that on a site I was goofing around with a year or so ago. I had the 2 column mod so I could display more on the front page and had the comments showing latest post first to make it easier to stay on topic with the blog conversation. I tweaked the journal to be a user blog system with links to the personal blogs on every news story. Had a lot of potential for sites that updated content often and wanted to involve a community with it.
