forum admin issue

When I attempt to access the forum admin through the admin panel I get the following message.

phpBB : Critical Error

Could not open subSilver template config file

DEBUG MODE

Line : 501
File : functions.php

Ideas?

cme4pt, you've posted several different problems that all appear to be related to either corrupt or missing files. Have you checked what's on your site vs. what is in the download (Beyond Compare does this well - it's well worth the small purchase price).

I've kind of come to the same conclusion. I'll give the Beyond Compare a shot. Thanks for all the work you guys put into this, it will be great once I get it up and running.

Could mean you're missing
modules/Forums/templates/subsilver/subSilver.cfg

Possibly
themes/DeepBlue/forums/forums.cfg
as well

I would highly recommend using FileZilla (free from sourceforge.net - no, I'm not getting a commission!) as it just seems that you are having a lot of issues with files not getting where they should be.... I've NEVER had an issue with FileZilla in the three solid years that I have been using it exclusively. (But, I would recommend the 2.x branch as 3.x still seems buggy to me.)
