I have a working site now based on phpnuke8, but no security at the moment, only some tweaks I did...I downloaded the ravennukeā„¢. When I opened it I saw nuke7.6 and sentinel, my question is:
How to properly secure the php-nuke 8.0 using sentinel, or I have to downgrade my site version to 7.6? I used phpnuke 8.0 because it is bundled in my autoscript installer, and it always gives me some headache when it comes to security.

Anyhelp would be gladly appreciated.

You can, with a bit of work, install Sentinel onto a PHP-Nuke 8.0 system. If this is a new site you may consider switching to RavenNuke, which already has Sentinel as well as a boat load of bug fixes that 8 doesn't have.

I am thinking also sir, because of the feedbacks I read some RN and some neg fed to Nuke 8.

1. I will just delete all my files, and save my current database?
2. If I upload the sql of RN, this will overwrite my stored files in DB? {sorry complete newbie in nuke}

If you want to keep your current database you will need to convert the tables into the format expected by RavenNuke. There are a lot of threads about this in these forums. If you convert your tables you can use them in RavenNuke without having to upload the SQL of RN.
