Redirect script

Hi im new so i didnt know where to post this so feel free to move it!
Im asking is there any script that i can past into my forum add the url i want ti to redirect it to and lock it and when u go onto it, it redirects u to that page? Smile

thx in advance for ur help!

PS: i cant add file to the server cos im doing free hosting!!

There are a few ways to redirect - although I'm not quite sure what you really want to do.

hmm cant add files to the server...honestly i cant think of a way you could do such a thing without file access,

It would be a good move to find a suitable and cheap host then use a free host..some free host are setup in such a way that alot of the basic scripts needed to run nuke are blocked or not functional.

In the long run youll see the limitations of not only no file access but other limits that are undoubtably in place.

These limits are placed in an attempt to stop hackers and secure the server and they will for the most part hinder your advances and updates needed to better suit your site.

this doesnt answer your question i know but this is some information i feel u need.

And if i could upload anything to the server what file would i use and where can i get it?

I want to able to get my forum of my site to redirect to my other forum as i already have a forum

well u want to rename the forum module and make a forum folder...then put either an html code in an index.php or a php code in there

not really html ..javascript i should say

but both exist and both work..
