This one is just too weird. I am adding, or should I say attempting to add a product review to my site. After getting everything entered, I click on peview link. And what's the next thing that happens? I am sent to [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ] What on earth is happening here??? I feel like I'm in the twilight Zone or living Orwell's 1984. Shocked

I am using ravenNuke 7.6. This is the first review added since installing RavenNuke 7.6, so I am really surpised by this.

Are you using IE ? It´s possible Browser Hijack. Such strange things happens if your machine is infected. Don´t know about your reviews product but hijack this is a good product.

First of all, I found after I got home a bunch of messages saying

Subject: Spammer blocked at TI99ers On-Line User Group

A potential spammer has been blocked at [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ] using the following filter word - replica

IP: 159.xxx.xx.xxx - Query this IP at [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

UserAgent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; Avant Browser; Avant Browser; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)

Date: May 16, 2006

Time: 12:54 PM

The IP address referenced is mine at work (which is also a .gov account). I am using Avant usually. One time I used IE. All Avant is is IE on Steroids. So I guess the IE question would be Yes.

I was logged in as the administrator (God account).

Now you have raised one good point. We just changed our antivirus from Mcafee to Sophos. Somethign to think about.

It's funny it denied me as administrator, but has allowed tons of spam in the comments. Personally, I don't understand where this Spam message is even generated. The comments spam is so bad I have now restricted the reviews to registered users only.

I think this line says it all

"A potential spammer has been blocked at [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ] using the following filter word - replica"

So check your word filters for "replica" Smile
