Not marking topics read

This is a problem inherent with 7.6 that I've seen in the past but I just downgraded from 7.9 to the newest release of RavenNuke and I have this problem again, so I felt this would be a good place to post my question.

When a topic is read it seldomly gets marked as read. As well when the link to "Mark All Topics Read" is clicked, none of the topics are marked as read.

Thanks for any tips where to look.

Sounds like an issue with the cookies - what is in your Forums Configuration?

Cookie Domain- blank
Cookie Name- TOP
Cookie Path- /

It's obviously a cookie problem and 7.9 handles these cookies well, which is why I upgraded. Very bad decision as we all know...but 7.6 needs a fix for this problem and I don't know where to look.

Another question is..does any other 7.6 sites have this problem?

This is a stock RN 2.02.02 distro...but it's not RN's problem like I said this problem has been inherent with stock Nuke 7.6 since the initial release.

If you do this it should take care of your issue. I dont know why it happens at times but doing this does fix it.

pnclthnmstsh, is it really an issue with core nuke7.6 or with phpBB or the phpBB integration?

Good question, I would think it's a phpBB problem but I've only seen this with Nuke 7.6 using several versions of phpBB since 2.0.15. I'll give what Jaded posted a shot.
