Is maxmind or IP2Country more accurate?

can anyone tell me if the Maxmind database is any more accurate than the IP2Country Database?

If so by how much?

I thought they were quite well known!

They have a few libraries (in C, php, perl & apache 1.3/2 mods) to access their database's which are very useful.

Wow, haven't a clue where BobMarion gets his IPtoCountry list. You might try PM'ing him as such.

FYI there is also an opensource database @ [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

They claim that their compiled binary database gives faster performance than an RDBMS.
