Noob in the house. NukeSentinel locks me out of admin.php

Hi guys,

First of all let me thank all of you who help make phpnuke safer. Wink
Your work is priceless, but i donation is always welcome (as i did). Wink

I had my website defaced and database erased.
After i restored my backups i decided (finally you dumbarse Razz ) to install NukeSentinel.
Because i was in, let's say, panic, i wanted to install it quickly. But my dumbarse actions continued. i changed my .htaccess and .staccess before i should.

So. I reverted back the installation, removed nukesentinel tables and started all over, this time correctly (or maybe not).

Anyway, this is where i am:
- i can't login to admin.php with .htaccess changed: the login popup appears but i can't login.
- if i revert back to the old .htaccess without NS changes i can login and get to NS settings.

So i guess i am close to putting all to work, but i'm missing a little nothing.
Can someone point me some directions?

P.S.-I hope i haven't mixed up things too badly, making it a security issue worse than it was before... Razz

P.S.-The banned IP table on MySQL is empty, meaning no IP was banned.

well delete your htaccess and .staccess and upload new ones and start over and set yourself as admin afterwards..

I guess i managed to solve it.

I wasn't ordering NS to generate the .staccess file. Razz
boxing

How could authentication be done if no one was there to authenticate anyway. Razz
