NSN V3 theme categories

After playing around for awhile with NSN V3 theme I decided to use the categories block but unfortunately when a category is selected no news appear.

If I switch to the fisubice theme it works ok

Could someone point me in the right direction?

Have you gotten this to work? I am bumping this to the top to see if anyone out there that uses this theme may be able to help you.

I have looked through the block-Categories.php block and I cannot understand why it would work in fisubice and not another. Having never used a theme from NSN, I don't know what it is doing. Hopefully someone out there can help????
