This is my file structure with their permissions:

.../includes/FCKeditor/editor/filemanager
/upload
    /File
    /Flash
    /Image
    /Media

Directories permissions are 777.

The website is on an ISPConfig configured host so the directories are owned by the admin user for the website and assigned to the website group.
For example:
user admin_web1
group web1

same directories, but it should be under /includes/FCKeditor instead of /includes/FCKeditor/editor/filemanager

Sorry about that I was trying different paths Embarassed . I restored the correct path and then was able to get min_uid errors resulting from my suPHP installation. I corrected the min_uid error and now IT WORKS!!! Thanks for your help. Much appreciated.
