It is either a pathing issue or a password mismatch, trust me on this.

Well I've tried & tried & it's just not bloody accepting it. Sad

I've looked over my paths & when in the Sentinel Admin it puts an error up if it cannot find the .htaccess file but it can find my file as the error isn't there. Wink
My .staccess file is sat along side the .htaccess file so I just have .staccess in the `Path to .staccess` file.

I've even copied down the following details to a seperate document so that I know what they are:

Admin Email
GOD Username
GOD Password
Regular Member Username
Regular Member Password
Regular Member Email
Sentinel Admin Email
Sentinel GOD Username
Sentinel GOD Password

Now not matter what I enter from those usernames & passwords when I activate the CGI Authentication I cannot log in.

I uncomment the code in the .htaccess file as per the instructions & the login pop-up appears when I try to navigate anywhere in the website.
I try to enter the details from the aforementioned list but it just loops back to a blank login popup asking me to input again.

I know you said that it's a pathing issue or password mismatch but I've checked, double & tripple checked & it still not working. Sad

Could it be my host in anyway?
Is the download I grabbed corrupt & something gone screwey?

Sorry for asking all these questions but I really want to get this working & have a safe phpnuke website.

Thanks for all the time & help & patience. Smile

p.s. I've sent you a PM

In the .staccess path, try using the full path, as suggested by NukeSentinel(tm). I am assuming that the format of your .staccess file is username:gdrw354hewjw - meaning some encoded password, correct?
