Mailing Conundrum

I think I may have missed something in my configuration, but how is it NukeSentinel can send me abuse notices via email just fine, but my user registration e-mails don't get sent out? I've already put in a no-mail hack, I'm just curious that maybe I missed something in my setup. I'd love to be able to get my e-mail functions totally working.

phpNuke uses the local mail() function of PHP. You'd have to check with your host to make sure it is properly configured

This *might* seem like a silly question, but are you sure they aren't being "sent out"?

The reason I ask is because there is a LOT of spam filtering going on 'in the wild' these days. For instance, my web host gets complaints all the time because new clients aren't receiving any setup information after they use 'Instant Signup' -- or so they think. 99.999% of the time this info is getting filtered by the client's spam program[s].

I was just thinking, maybe the same thing is happening to you... Wink

Yeah, I'm sure they are not being sent out. I'm using a non-admin e-mail for NukeSentinel, and I tried using that same email previously to test user registtraion e-mail, and nothing got through, even to bulk. I found out that I am unable to change the ()local setting with my host, and didn't understand how one didn't work, but the other one does. I thought maybe Sentinel is using a work-around to the ()local mail that I might apply to user registrations.
