Forum buttons not working as they should!

Ok..

firstly,
im running phpnuke 7.8 with PhPBB 2.0.1.8 (latest)

the Find new Posts button WAS working fine untill something happened..

my host did some security tightening on his network which had some re-precussions on my site.. So ask your host to change i hear you say. well its not that simple. at first i presumed ANOTHER problem with nuke had happened, and as my forum was telling me i had to update i did.

so i used bbtonuke or whatever its called and the forums were fine.. posting... reading. except for some minor yet annoying things..
firstly the Find New Posts button doesnt work it just says [No topics or posts met your search criteria] all the time even though there are plenty of new posts.

secondly, if there are more than one page on the topic, you cant look at it, when you press the number two or the next button it says [No posts exist for this topic]

Ah theres more..

thirdly, when i post i want to see the previoud posts in the box below, but noo it says [ETag: "3d837d- HTTP/1.1DateETag: "3d80f7- Accept-RanConn]
..

ok that has changed since i posted and it now works.... i think

Anyone got any ideas.. please help.. i really want to have this sorted before christmas Smile

Mm checked the cookie settings in your Forums Configuration?

There are some changes to things in phpBB 2.0.18 that may cause problems. We're hoping things get fixed in the next release

What should they be on?
they are set to the correct domain
cookie path is set to /
cookie name to phpbbtoMysql
cookie secure set to disabled
session length to 3600

is there anyone that could perhaps link to the correct files i actually need to update it.
i have a feeling i updated it incorrectly but i dont actually know which files to use.

I last used bbtonuke 2.0.1.8 and thats all....

How would i go about getting a fresh install of the latest PhpBB in my nuke site..
