CroixKarl, RavenNuke76(tm) is base nuke v7.6, patch level 3.1, and NukeSentinel(tm) v2.4.2pl2. If your site has that then you are already there. What you don't have are some added modules/blocks. You should be able to pull those from the distro and just add them.

What I want to do is go from 7.8 to RN7.6 and obviously keep the content of the site as it is now... (other than the hacked pages of course Evil or Very Mad )

Can I therefore create a new sql database, rename (or delete) my current public_html folder, stick a new install of RN7.6 in a fresh public_html folder and then upload a mysql dump from the original 7.8 site to the new sql database? Very Happy

No. You must first run the 7.8 to 7.6 downgrader as mentioned in other posts. Then, you will want to move the tables one at a time to ensure that you're not overwriting anything that we have added.
