Anyone have suggestions on how to get the admin of this to work with 6.9? The admin setup is for the newer nukes that move admin features to the actual module's directory. *pout*

This is NOT a free, GPL module. Burnwave will be posting the whole story, but for now, be advised.

I assumed as much. Bob Marion now owns the rights to emporium. I spoke to BW last night and he intends to reply to this.

As I said, BW will be posting the details. It is NOT GPL.

Emporium, in all states, was not supposed to be released as GPL, despite what the licensing may say within the package. I didn't exactly resolve this 'issue' of licensing completely, nor did I address the community regarding the 'issue'. I don't have plans on explaining what happened publicly.

Emporium's rights were transferred to Bob Marion in hopes that he could continue and perhaps profit from the script, with the request that the script would not be released as GPL.

The script was also as an EXCLUSIVE module for PNP (with my permission), which was not to be released as GPL. TechGFX failed to remove my script when license issues arrised, concerning nonGPL scripts within GPL packages. I recommended he resold the script as standalone and cover support so that I did not have to deal with the folks coming to MY site asking me for support for a script they didn't pay for (it was a freebie only to be included in PNP, mind you).

Since TechGFX took months to resolve the issue (which actually was never resolved; he was too lazy to remove a few files from his public packages per my request), and due to the continued poor quality of each PHPNuke major release, I decided to 'close' my site and start a new project/community. This change was also due to the flood of people asking for support for the script when TechGFX couldn't provide it himself due to disinterest and abandonment of his community, and because he wouldn't remove said files from his packages, there was very little I could do to prevent people from constantly mailing me for support. Having a blinding red gigantic message near all my contact forms labeled 'Do not contact us regarding Emporium unless you are a paid license holder' did not stop Techs community from contacting me.

Burnwave.com is still 'alive', but under a new company name/type with a different focus. I do still provide support for Emporium to a select few, and I do have plans on revising Emporium (or at least a similar project), even if it isn't for Nuke.

So, just to make things short, Emporium is not GPL and never officially was despite what the packages say, what the old articles on Burnwave.com mentioned, or where its available. The only person who has rights to the project is Bob Marion, which is the same developer I transferred WorkBoard and Probe to.

I had/have a test site setup to work on Emporium, once I do make a few changes it will be NukeEmporium, but have not had the time I wanted to work on it. Some changes I have to talk to BW about so there isn't any issues between himself and myself either. We ran into an issue when I released the wrong copy of Work Board, my working copy, and I want to make sure that doesn't happen again Smile
