CHmod question

Hi guys, i been playing with chmod on a few folders and somehow managed my so that i cant see any images in my forums, so my question is to anyone what chmod are you using for

public_html

modules

Forums

i assume its only that far down, the avatar folder is 777 but i still cannot see any avatars on the site.

I also have an arcade in the modules/forums/* there so it must be under here somewhere.

public_html : 755

module : 755

forums : 755

(upload directories in forums : 777

Argh, okay i made sure all dir's where 755 but to no joy.

but what you mean upload directories ???

any other ideas

upload directories are those where images go that members upload..the members avatars.

thought so, just wanted to double check. found the problem now anyway mate. somehow a htaccess file got into the Modules root and was blocking everything. removed and all is okay.
