"or something like that". Hmm.

Could you be more vague?

If you could post the actual error, I will be happy to try to assist...
Off the top of my head, access to a file or directory sounds like a permissions problem with chmod - but thats just one possibility.

Well that error is gone there is a bigger problem now !!!!! I cannot make any new blocks. I went and used PHP Nuke Patched on top of the nuke to ger NS to work. That is great I can Acces Those Files Now. Except I stll can configure the .htaccess and .staccess at the moment. But I cant create any new blocks since i upgraded nuke with the ptch to get NS to work. Any ideas?

There is an order to which you must perform you updates.

After uploading the patched files and executing the database update (running the updatedb.php file) you must then go back an perform the NukeSentinel installation routines to modify the files as indicated in the NukeSentinel installation instructions.

Remember, those files that you edited before have been replaced by the "Patched" files so they must be re-edited appropriately.

As for configuring .htaccess and .staccess, what exactly do you mean by that? Where/what exactly is the problem?

Okay... Let's slow down a litte.

First, when you say "I cannot create new blocks"... Let's start with some basic questions.

1) What version of PHP-Nuke are you running?
2) Are you on a shared host or are you running your own server?
3) What version of PHP and MySQL Are you running?
4) Does your server support Apache's "mod_rewrite" functions? (If you don't know, ask your host or run a rewrite testing program)
5) When you say that you can't create new blocks, please define in detail exactly what you are trying to do and how you are trying to do it.
6) When you say, "still the blocks dont work" are you talking about the same thing as you can't create new blocks? Or something different?

Thanks
Steph

P.S. I consolidated your posts into a single message. It is not neccessary to create a new reply everytime if you can simply go back and edit your last post.

1) What version of PHP-Nuke are you running? Nuke 7.6 Upgraded to 7.7
2) Are you on a shared host or are you running your own server? Shared
3) What version of PHP and MySQL Are you running? Latest Versions
4) Does your server support Apache's "mod_rewrite" functions? (If you don't know, ask your host or run a rewrite testing program) I believe so
5) When you say that you can't create new blocks, please define in detail exactly what you are trying to do and how you are trying to do it. Lets say I try to create the hacks beware block i click create nothing shows up where I sked ti to show and nothing shows in the blocks admin to show I created them
6) When you say, "still the blocks dont work" are you talking about the same thing as you can't create new blocks? Or something different? Samething

I canĀ“t choose any other block from NukeSentinel. It`s always the same scrolling block. If this is your problem too you can also change the NukeSentinel block in the DB nuke_blocks - from block-ScrollingSentinel.php to Block-Hacker_ Beware php. This is a center block. But maybe in Nuke 7.7 its different.

It does not matter about which nuke version. I CANNOT create any new blocks.

Hi there,

I have just installed patch 3.0 with the newest version of sentinel and have came across the same problem.

I installed patch 3.0 (which worked perfectly) then installed sentinel version 2.3.2. The problem is that the "blocks admin" function has completely disappeared. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction of restoring the function.

Update: I have included a screenshot too see the problem. admin blocks missing

Thank you in advance.
