Upgrade from 2.2.1 to 2.30 problem

I successfully upgraded from 2.2.1 to 2.3.0 but he sentinel blocks for the main page when activated say you can't access this file directly, can't seem to find a fix, any help appreciated.

Yes, I'm having the same problem using Nuke Platinum 7.6.0.

The only thing I can think of that will allow the block to display properly is to comment out the following line:

if(!defined('NUKE_FILE') && !defined('BLOCK_FILE')) { die("You can't access this file directly..."); }

I was under the impression Platinum 7.6.0 was a patched 2.9 distribution, but perhaps not.

Obviously, commenting out the direct file checking isn't an advisable thing to do, so if this is because Platinum is only patched 2.8, perhaps this is the reason for this error?
