Why would I be getting the error (look inside)

"You cannot access this file directly" on my index.php? What are some of the possible reasons? I wanted to add that I am starting at the admin page and this happens when I hit the HOME link... or type it in.

New item: it is only with the News module set as home. I am using 7.6 w/chatserv's patches

Look in the modules.php and see what is used to define $PHPSELF if it is $_SERVER['SCRIPT_FILE'] then thats what you have to use in the News Module files in the protection lines. Or change it in modules.php now this depends on the time you downloaded the patched files because there has been a migration away from this method completely and it will resolve this issue for everyone once it is implemented.

Its there in the CSV files and I think that the 7.4-7.6 packages at NSN are zipped up with the changes already. So you can start already.

Well I did the update and still no joy. I could not find what you mentioned in the modules.php. It is still happening when I put the news module as home... please help! Wink
