Hello
A friend and I are creating a site using nukephp and yesterday while he was looking at a tutorial on nukemods on making themes, he was banned for "havesting". We dont know what this is, and was wondering what we can do about it.

He needs to see the site as he is the art guy and I only do the site admin and settup.

I am sorry if this is in the wrong area, but I have no idea what to do.

Thanks so much for any response

Geoff

thats a part of sentinel that probably qualified your friend as a harvester....whitch means "collecting"......and if set to perminent you get banned for good....but not that weird cause i have it set the same way..

Clear his IP from nsnst_blocked_ips and .htaccess if it is in either place. The Harvester routine uses the user-agent string for known harversters. Compare his user-agent string with the list in NukeSentinel.

NukeSentinel doesn't get it wrong Smile. Copy his user-agent into this tool [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]
to see why it's getting trapped.
