admin password not getting me in

hi,im haveing a problem i cant find in the forums...i have nuke sentinal and i changed my password to make it even more unhackable and now when i try to login it just takes me back to the admin login.i used yor admin password script and changed the pass successfully but it still just takes me back to the admion login.please help.

I'm not sure I understand. Close your browser and then open it and goto admin.php . If NukeSentinel is installed correctly, you should see a gray box requesting your id/pass. If the gray box accepts your id/pass then you will be taken to the standard admin login screen. Your id's and password's do not have to be the same and are not syncronized. When you change one it does not change the other.

the sentinal is accepting the password cause im not redirected to the begone screen,but i cant get to my admin panel.it keeps asking me for my name and password.

That means you aren't using the correct NUKE id/pass. See this post for an easy way to reset your Nuke Admin password [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

i am using the correct nuke admin name and password that i changed it to using the nuke admin password changer script.i've triple checked it letter for letter but i still cant get into the admin panel.and i did not use myphpadmin panel to change the pass word.also the nuke sentinal is installed correctly and i have never had a problem with it.it has alwasys worked fine.and if i was putting in the wrong name and or password the nuke sentinal would be sending me to the begone page,but thats not happening.im completely stumped.

Not necessarily true. Unless your id's and passwords are the same for both logins then that is not correct. Use that script and reset your password again. You have nothing to lose.

ahhh your right,i had to have the same password for both super user and admin user.problem solved.man thanks for your help.
