Does NSN protect without inputting IPs

I have just installed Nuke Sentinal and i am not really sure how it works, but i was wondering will it protect my site without having to input any IPs into it?

It will but you need to enable the protections through its admin panel.

sorry to sound like a complete noob, well thats what i am, but have clicked the general settings and filled in what i understood and left the rest to default, i know it sounds stupid but is there an enable protection but? would you be able to tell me roughly what i need to do to enable the protection please?

Have you reviewed the guide at [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ] ? It is still the 2.1.0 but it should give you the general idea.
